9:30 Club (current V Street location)

The 9:30 Club was originally founded in 1980 and relocated to its current address at 815 V Street NW in 1996. The venue has a long history of booking alternative, punk, and underground acts and has been important in presenting emerging artists early in their careers. The club's V Street location continues to host both local and touring performers across alternative and underground genres.
