Dukes Terrace

Dukes Terrace is a historic Grade II listed building located in Liverpool, Merseyside, built in 1843. It features nine homes and is the last example of back-to-back building style in the city. Originally housing employees of wealthy merchants, it faced condemnation in the 1930s but was preserved due to community resistance. After decades of dereliction, it was restored and converted into apartments in 2003. Situated in the Duke Street Conservation Area of the Georgian Quarter, it is near the Old Dock and features a statue of William Huskisson, the first railway passenger casualty.
