Pellerhaus

The Pellerhaus is a historic building located in Nuremberg's old city center, originally constructed between 1602 and 1605 as a prime example of Renaissance architecture. It was severely damaged during World War II but parts of its structure were preserved and integrated into a modern building completed in the late 1950s. The site has a rich history, having served as a city archive and featuring intricate architectural details such as Gothic ribbed vaults and lavishly decorated interiors. Recent efforts have aimed to reconstruct the courtyard, reflecting ongoing debates about preserving Nuremberg's architectural heritage.
