Omni Parker House hauntings

The Omni Parker House hotel, opened in 1855, is the subject of longstanding ghost stories linking it to its founder Harvey D. Parker and other apparitions. Guests and staff have reported unexplained noises, moving objects and sightings attributed in folklore to Parker and former residents. Author Charles Dickens stayed at the hotel in 1867; claims of Dickens' or other literary ghosts are anecdotal and debated.
