Wallace Building (Little Rock, Arkansas)

The Wallace Building is a historic nine-story high-rise located at 101-11 Main Street in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. Completed in 1928 and designed by local architect George R. Mann, it showcases early Art Deco architecture. The building was commissioned by George Washington Donaghey, a former governor of Arkansas, who previously collaborated with Mann on the Arkansas State Capitol. The building is named after Donaghey's wife's maiden name and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999, making it a notable landmark for both tourists and researchers interested in Arkansas's architectural heritage.
