San Antonio Museum of Art (Lone Star Brewery complex)

San Antonio Museum of Art occupies the former Lone Star Brewing Company complex on the Museum Reach of the San Antonio River Walk. The museum adapted historic industrial brewery buildings into gallery space while retaining elements of the 19th- and early-20th-century architecture. Its collections include significant holdings of Latin American, Spanish colonial, and Asian art. The conversion of the brewery into a museum is a prominent example of adaptive reuse in San Antonio.
