Liège College, Leuven

Liège College, established in 1605, served as an academic institution for theology students from the Diocesan Seminary of Liège at the University of Leuven. Founded at the behest of Ernest of Bavaria, the college featured a building, chapel, and garden by 1671. Although it closed in 1797 and its buildings were sold in 1806, parts of the original structure have been preserved since 1974 and now host various restaurants. The former college garden has been transformed into the Jozef Vounckplein, making it a notable spot for visitors.
