Carlsberg Museum

The Carlsberg Museum, located in Copenhagen, Denmark, was originally the home of Carl Jacobsen's extensive sculpture collection before it moved to the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. Established between 1892 and 1895, the museum features 20 galleries designed by architects Vilhelm Dahlerup and Hack Kampmann. Initially opened to the public in 1882, the museum showcased Jacobsen's passion for art and expanded over the years. Although it closed permanently in 2009, the building now serves as the Carlsberg Business Centre, hosting conferences and events. Visitors can appreciate its striking red brick architecture and the notable Empress Gallery with its Ionic columns.
