Dyckman Farmhouse Museum - Manhattan's oldest farmhouse

The Dyckman Farmhouse, located at 4881 Broadway in Inwood, dates to about 1784 and is the oldest surviving farmhouse on Manhattan Island; it operates as the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum interpreting rural and domestic life in northern Manhattan. The Dutch Colonial house retains period architectural features and displays furniture, textiles, and objects related to the Dyckman family and local history. The site is designated as a New York City landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
