Liberty Warehouse Nos. 1 and 2

Liberty Warehouse Nos. 1 and 2 was a historic tobacco auction warehouse complex in Durham, North Carolina, built in 1938 and 1948. Known for its expansive frame structure and timber columns, it played a significant role in the tobacco industry until the last auctions in the 1980s. The site was recognized for its historical importance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008, but unfortunately, it faced demolition starting in 2014 after a roof collapse in 2011.
