Boathouse Row

Boathouse Row is a historic set of rowing club boathouses along the Schuylkill River, with structures dating primarily from the mid- to late-19th century and early 20th century. The row reflects the growth of organized amateur rowing and riverfront recreational infrastructure in Philadelphia. Several boathouses retain original masonry and Victorian-era architectural details and the site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
