California Building (Museum of Us) and Architect Bertram Goodhue

Architect Bertram Goodhue designed the California Building (now home to the Museum of Us) for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition in Balboa Park. The building's ornate Spanish-Colonial Revival dome became an iconic image of the exposition and of Balboa Park. The structure continues to house museum exhibits interpreting regional and anthropological history.
