Lan Su Chinese Garden (classical public garden art)

Lan Su Chinese Garden is a walled, classical Suzhou-style garden in Portland's Old Town Chinatown that opened in 2000. It was constructed with the participation of artisans from Suzhou, China, and features traditional architectural elements, scholar's rocks, courtyards, calligraphy, and carved stone and wood elements displayed as public art. The garden operates as a public cultural site and hosts rotating exhibitions and cultural programs.
