Hitsville U.S.A. (Motown Museum)

Hitsville U.S.A., a small house on West Grand Boulevard, is where Berry Gordy founded Motown Records in 1959 and operated the label's original offices and recording studio. The building preserves Studio A, the original recording space where numerous Motown hits were recorded, and now operates as the Motown Museum offering guided tours. The site is widely recognized for its role in launching the careers of artists such as Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, and Stevie Wonder.
