Hanlon-Osbakken House

The Hanlon-Osbakken House, located at 419 Lincoln Street in Sitka, Alaska, is a historic Queen Anne Victorian home built between 1892 and 1896. It features a distinctive side-gable roof, a porch, and a projecting bay window, along with an octagonal tower-like dormer. Originally constructed as a rectangular block, the house was later expanded into an L shape. Built by William Basil Sherigan for his sister-in-law Anna and her husband John Hanlon, it remained in the family until 1991. The house was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in Alaska's architectural heritage.
