Tovrea Castle (Carraro Heights)

Tovrea Castle is a five-story, castle-like concrete structure built in the late 1920s and early 1930s and is a prominent landmark on Phoenix's east side. It sits on a small hill near Van Buren Street and was long associated with the Tovrea family and their meatpacking business. The site has been restored and is managed as a historic property with public tours and preservation efforts highlighting its unusual architecture and history.
