Simpsons of Piccadilly, located at 203–206 Piccadilly in central London, was the largest menswear store in Britain when it opened in 1936. Designed by architect Joseph Emberton, the store is a Grade II* listed building known for its innovative architecture, featuring a steel structure, large glass windows, and a striking Travertine marble staircase. Originally created to showcase the S. Simpsons and DAKS clothing range, it became a landmark for its modern design and exceptional window displays. During WWII, it played a crucial role in supplying uniforms and later transformed into a popular shopping destination, now housing a Waterstones bookstore.
