Pioneer Courthouse Square

Pioneer Courthouse Square is a one-acre public plaza in downtown Portland commonly called 'Portland's living room.' It opened in 1984 on the former site of the Portland Hotel and includes an amphitheater and permanent public art installations. The square hosts hundreds of public events each year, including concerts, rallies, and seasonal festivals, making it a central neighborhood gathering place.
