Henry Ford II World Center

The Henry Ford II World Center, also known as the Glass House, is a striking 12-story office tower located in Dearborn, Michigan. Completed in 1956, this architectural marvel was designed by the renowned firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and features a distinctive glass facade. Serving as the global headquarters for Ford Motor Company until 2025, the building boasts 950,000 square feet of space and has accommodated around 2,000 employees. The complex includes a three-story structure with dining facilities and a parking garage. Set on 174 acres of landscaped grounds, it is home to the Arjay Miller Arboretum. As Ford transitions to a new headquarters, the Glass House is slated for demolition in 2027, marking the end of an era for this iconic symbol of American automotive history.
