Paul Revere House

The Paul Revere House, at 19 North Square, is a timber-frame 17th-century residence dating to the late 1600s and is the oldest surviving structure in Boston's central city area. Paul Revere purchased the house in 1770 and lived there during the American Revolution; the building is now a museum dedicated to his life and to daily colonial-era domestic history. The site displays period furnishings, archaeological finds, and interpretive exhibits about Revere and colonial Boston. It is a listed historic landmark on the Freedom Trail.
