Hjorte Apotek (Copenhagen)

Hjorte Apotek, or 'Deer Pharmacy', was a historic pharmacy located at Gothersgade 35 in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Established in 1800, it operated until 1967 and is notable for its architectural features, including a striking gilded sculpture of a deer above the entrance. The site has a rich history dating back to 1646, with various owners and uses over the centuries. The building was recognized for its cultural significance and was listed as a protected structure in 1964. Today, the ground floor houses a bar, offering a glimpse into the past while serving modern patrons.
