Cabrillo Bridge (Balboa Park, 1914)

The Cabrillo Bridge was completed in 1914 to provide access to Balboa Park for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915. It is a large reinforced-concrete arch bridge that originally carried vehicular traffic into the park and remains a prominent historic approach to the El Prado area. The bridge's concrete construction and ornamental design reflect early 20th-century park infrastructure and civic planning in San Diego.
