Babar Mahal

Babar Mahal is a historic Rana palace located in the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal, near the Bagmati River. This significant site is intertwined with the history of Nepal and its rulers. Currently, the palace complex houses various government departments, including the Department of Roads. Unfortunately, it suffered considerable damage during the devastating earthquake in April 2015, but it remains an important landmark for both tourists and researchers interested in Nepal's royal heritage.
