South Mountain Park and Preserve (municipal park size)

South Mountain Park and Preserve in Phoenix covers roughly 16,000 acres and is managed by the City of Phoenix. It is among the largest municipally operated urban parks in the United States. The park contains extensive hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian trails and notable viewpoints such as Dobbins Lookout.
