Vista House

Vista House is a historic museum located at Crown Point in Multnomah County, Oregon, offering breathtaking views of the Columbia River Gorge from its 733-foot elevation. Designed by architect Edgar M. Lazarus in the Art Nouveau style, this octagonal stone building was completed in 1918 and serves as a memorial to Oregon pioneers and a rest stop for travelers on the Historic Columbia River Highway. After extensive restoration work completed in 2005, visitors can explore its marble interiors and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the aurora borealis. Vista House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a key feature of the Columbia River Highway National Historic Landmark.
