Kalita Humphreys Theater - Frank Lloyd Wright-designed playhouse

The Kalita Humphreys Theater, completed in 1959 and designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, is one of the few Wright buildings in Texas and a noted architectural landmark in the Turtle Creek/Uptown area. The theater has historically hosted productions by the Dallas Theater Center and other performing arts companies. Its circular, cantilevered design and lakeside setting make it a distinctive neighborhood icon for Dallas theater and architecture.
