Zweig Building

The Zweig Building, a historic commercial structure in downtown Bellaire, Ohio, was constructed in 1912 and exemplifies early Chicago school architecture. Standing four stories tall, it features a brick facade with prominent pilasters and original glass display windows. Historically, it housed small businesses like dentists and jewelers, and has retained many of its original features, including unique transom lights and hardwood flooring. Recognized for its architectural significance, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000 and has been repurposed into elder housing apartments, winning accolades for its preservation efforts.
