Paramount Theatre historic performing arts venue

The Paramount Theatre opened in 1928 as a vaudeville and movie palace designed by architect B. Marcus Priteca. It has been restored and continues to operate as a major downtown performance venue hosting Broadway tours, concerts, and community events. The theatre is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is managed by the non-profit Seattle Theatre Group. Its marquee and interior are notable elements of Seattle's performing-arts heritage.
