Six Flags Fiesta Texas (La Cantera Quarry Site)

Six Flags Fiesta Texas opened in 1992 on the site of a former limestone quarry in the La Cantera area of northwest San Antonio. The park is built into and around the quarry topography, using the steep quarry walls in its landscaping and ride layouts. Notable attractions include Iron Rattler, a hybrid coaster converted and reopened by Rocky Mountain Construction in 2013 from a former wooden coaster.
