Liberty Bell and its inscription

The Liberty Bell, displayed in the Liberty Bell Center, bears the inscription from Leviticus 25:10 reading 'Proclaim LIBERTY Throughout all the Land unto all the Inhabitants Thereof.' The bell was originally cast in 1752 and recast by local founders John Pass and John Stow in 1753; it is famous for its large crack which rendered it unringable.
