Maple Hall

Maple Hall is a historic house located near Lexington, Virginia, built in 1855 in the Greek Revival style. This two-story brick dwelling features a distinctive pedimented front portico and is set on an English basement. The property also includes an older two-story brick building from the 1820s and a small log outbuilding. Recently, it served as the site of Maple Hall Academy, a therapeutic boarding school, before its closure in April 2024. Maple Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in American architectural history.
