Daggett House

The Daggett House, located in Slater Park, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, is the oldest standing house in the city and one of the oldest in the state, built around 1685 for John Daggett, Jr. This historic farmhouse has a rich history, having been passed down through generations of the Daggett family, with notable figures such as Joseph Daggett, a doctor and miller. After declining in the late 19th century, the house was restored by the Daughters of the American Revolution and opened as a museum in 1905. Tours are available by appointment, offering visitors a glimpse into Rhode Island's colonial past.
