Logan Furnace Mansion

The Logan Furnace Mansion, located in Spring Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania, is a historic house that showcases early American architecture. This L-shaped structure features a 2+1⁄2-story main house built in 1818 and a two-story kitchen ell dating back to 1798-1800. Originally constructed by iron master John Dunlop, the mansion is notable for its historical significance and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. Visitors can explore the remnants of the iron furnace, which once produced 1,200 tons of pig iron annually, along with the stone house and other historical artifacts.
