National Bank of Slovakia Tower

The National Bank of Slovakia Tower, a striking high-rise in Bratislava's Old Town, stands at 111 meters tall, making it the fifth tallest building in Slovakia as of 2024. Commissioned as the head office for the National Bank of Slovakia, the tower was completed in 2002 after several years of construction delays. Its modern design, created by Slovak architects Martin Kusý and Pavol Paňák, reflects the dynamic nature of the newly independent Slovakia. The building features 33 floors, including a congress hall and exhibition spaces, and is surrounded by a green area, offering a blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal. With 23 lifts and capacity for over 1,000 people, it serves as a hub for banking operations while also contributing to the skyline of Bratislava, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
