Evergreen Point (SR 520) Floating Bridge

The Evergreen Point Floating Bridge on State Route 520 connects Seattle's Montlake area to the eastside and was the site of an earlier 1963 bridge that was the longest floating bridge when built. The original span was replaced by a new floating bridge that opened in 2016, and the replacement SR 520 bridge is recognized as the world's longest floating bridge by total length. The west approach of the SR 520 floating bridge is adjacent to the Montlake/Arboretum area of Seattle.
