Bluebonnet Bowl at Rice Stadium

The Bluebonnet Bowl was a college football bowl game held annually in Houston from 1959 through 1987. For most of its history the game was played at Rice Stadium on the Rice University campus. The bowl brought numerous postseason college football matchups to Houston and was an early long-running bowl game in the city.
