Hundred Oaks Castle

Hundred Oaks Castle is a historic mansion located in Winchester, Tennessee, originally built in the 1830s for lawyer Peter S. Decherd. The mansion was later transformed into a castle by Arthur Marks, a U.S. diplomat, who named it after the 100 oak trees on the property. The castle has served various purposes over the years, including a monastery and a museum, and was restored by the Bramlett Family Foundation in 1996. Although it has been a site for tours, availability has been affected by the COVID pandemic.
