Bass Performance Hall - home venue for the Van Cliburn competition concerts

Bass Performance Hall opened in 1998 and was designed by architect David M. Schwarz. It serves as the principal performance venue for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Texas Ballet Theater and hosts concerts for the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition when the event is held in Fort Worth. The hall is noted locally for its vaulted proscenium and ornate terra-cotta exterior.
