Hotel San Carlos - hosting Hollywood figures

The Hotel San Carlos opened in downtown Phoenix in 1928 and became a major social hub for the city. During its early decades the hotel hosted numerous Hollywood celebrities, including Clark Gable and Carole Lombard, who stayed there while working in the region.
