William Everhart Buildings

The William Everhart Buildings, also known as the Everhart-Lincoln Building, is a historic commercial complex located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Constructed around 1833 by Congressman William Everhart, this three-story brick structure showcases Federal architectural style and features a distinctive hipped roof and a wrought iron porch added in 1868. Notably, it served as the printing house for Abraham Lincoln's first biography in 1860. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it offers a glimpse into the rich history of American journalism and architecture.
