Grisamore House

The Grisamore House, built in 1837 by brothers David and Wilson Grisamore, is a historic Federal style brick double house located in downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana. Notable for its Greek Revival design elements, the house features impressive Doric columns and balconies. It has a rich history, including a speech by future president William Henry Harrison during his 1840 campaign. After serving as the Decker Art Studio in the 1930s, the house faced fire damage in 1981 but was preserved and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Today, it is part of the Old Jeffersonville Historic District and accommodates private businesses.
