Free Library of Philadelphia – Parkway Central Library

Parkway Central Library, the main branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia, occupies a Beaux-Arts building on Logan Circle that opened in 1927. The building was designed under the Horace Trumbauer firm with significant contribution by architect Julian Abele and represents early-20th-century civic library infrastructure in the city.
