Itmann Company Store and Office

The Itmann Company Store and Office, located in Itmann, West Virginia, is a historic commercial building designed by architect Alex B. Mahood and constructed between 1923 and 1925. This Classical Revival style complex, made of native sandstone, features an open courtyard plan with four sections. Notably, Sections A and C are 2 1/2 stories tall, while Section D is a 1-story loggia. Originally built to serve the local mining community, it was recognized for its historical significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
