Moyse Building

The Moyse Building, also known as the Gray Building, is a historic landmark in Chino, California, built in 1887. As the oldest surviving structure in the city, it has a rich history, serving as Chino's first post office and the site of its inaugural school with just five students. It was among the first buildings to receive telephone service and hosted the city's first communal Thanksgiving celebration. Today, it houses the Chino Chamber of Commerce and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history.
