Oriam

Oriam is Scotland's national performance centre for sport, located at Heriot-Watt University's Riccarton campus in Edinburgh. Opened in August 2016, this state-of-the-art facility features the largest FIFA-accredited indoor synthetic 3G pitch in Europe, along with various sports amenities including a 12-court sports hall and hydrotherapy pool. It serves as a training hub for prominent teams like the Scottish Rugby Union and Scottish Football Association, as well as Heart of Midlothian F.C. and other sports organizations. The centre is designed to be accessible to students and the public, making it a vibrant part of Scotland's sporting landscape.
