Barton Springs Pool

Barton Springs Pool is a three-acre, spring-fed swimming pool located within Zilker Park whose water is supplied by underground springs in the Edwards Aquifer. The pool maintains an average year-round temperature of about 68–70 degrees Fahrenheit. Owned and operated by the City of Austin, it is a long-established recreational attraction with designated swimming areas and seasonal lifeguards.
