Bond County Courthouse

The Bond County Courthouse, located at 200 West College Ave. in Greenville, Illinois, serves as the center of county government and judicial proceedings for Bond County. Built between 1884 and 1885, this Federal style building features modified Italianate windows and is a historical landmark, representing the county's evolution since its founding in 1817. It is the fourth courthouse in the area, following three earlier structures that have since been lost to time. The courthouse is not only a functional space for legal matters but also a piece of architectural history worth visiting.
