Maguindanao del Sur Provincial Capitol

The Maguindanao del Sur Provincial Capitol, located in Buluan, Philippines, serves as the seat of government for the newly formed province since 2022. Originally part of the undivided Maguindanao province, the capitol has a rich history, having moved from Shariff Aguak and undergone significant changes over the years. The current structure, inaugurated in 2019, was designed to resemble the iconic US White House and features a dome similar to the US Capitol. With a total floor area of 6,000 square meters and set on a 5-hectare complex, this modern building represents the aspirations of local governance and architectural ambition in the region, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
