Hegnsholt

Hegnsholt is a historic country house located in Grønholt, Denmark, approximately 40 km north of Copenhagen. Originally built in 1815 by architect Christian Frederik Hansen, the estate has undergone several expansions and renovations, notably in 1904 and 1920. The estate has a rich history of ownership, including notable figures such as businessman William Bendix and aviation pioneer Christian Bohnstedt-Petersen, who established an airfield on the property in 1940. Today, Hegnsholt is owned by Niels Fennet, and visitors can explore its architectural evolution and the surrounding scenic landscapes of North Zealand.
