Central Post Office Building (Jerusalem)

The Central Post Office Building in Jerusalem, constructed between 1934 and 1938 during the British Mandate, is a notable example of 'Mandatory' architectural style. Designed by architects Austen Harrison and Percy Harold Winter, this historic structure served as the General Post Office and housed various administrative functions for Palestine's postal services. Its grand opening on June 18, 1938, was attended by the High Commissioner and numerous guests, marking it as a significant landmark on Jaffa Street.
